Founded in 2013 in Australia, Makers Empire creates 3D software for students, professional development programs for teachers and custom schools industry and education outreach programs for education departments, corporate sponsors and foundations that are backed by university research and aligned to international design and technology curricula.
As part of our services to school customers, we recommend, service and sell 3D printers to schools in Australia and the USA. To that end, we have been working with FlashForge and other 3D printer manufacturers for to supply schools with school-safe, reliable and quality 3D printers. We have sold and serviced thousands of 3D printers.
FlashForge has recently developed a new multi-colour 3D printer called the AD5X that can produce 3D prints composed of four different colour filaments. The first batch of 3D printers is about to ship to their pre-order customers so they sent us a demonstration model to try.
Watch Makers Empire’s Schools Success Manager and hardware specialist, Luke Henderson, unbox the Flashforge AD5X multi-color 3D printer and give his first impressions.
