Makers Empire is happy to announce the imminent arrival of two new modules to our 3D printing app and Learning Program: Toy Designer and Cogger.
Love collecting cute — or fierce! — figurines? Toy Designer lets you design and print your own unique figurines for display at home, school or the workplace.
Select from a selection of body types and create your ideal figurine – with endless options and configurations your design is only limited by your imagination!
Have an interest in engineering and figuring out how things work? You’ll enjoy tinkering with the new Cogger module.
Cogger helps give students gain an understanding of gear ratios, mechanical design and related mathematics.
Currently, both modules are being trialled and tested by Makers Empire’s Lighthouse Schools, a special group of schools that receive advance access to new modules. The valuable feedback provided by our Lighthouse Schools’ teachers and students has a significant effect on the final module deployed and ensures that the module provides effective learning outcomes aligned to the Australian Curriculum.
Toy Designer and Cogger join the existing stable of Makers Empire modules including Shaper, Character, Doodler, and Blocker. Both modules will be launched to the public in the next 10 days so watch this space!
