Kids In Space 2026 Education Program

Primary schools across Australia are invited to submit an expression of interest for the Andy Thomas Space Foundation’s Kids in Space 2026 program. This program encourages students to engage with the nation’s growing space ecosystem, introduce them to space technology and jobs within the space industry and spark their interest in a space career. Schools selected will be awarded a STEM package valued at $6,999 including professional development for teachers, Makers Empire tools and resources and a student showcase event.

This program will be delivered to around 100 schools in Australia in terms 1-3, 2025.

Early expressions of interest close Friday, November 14th, 2025.

Naturally Brave Natural Disaster Resilience 2026
SA Program

Primary schools in the Limestone Coast and Adelaide regions of South Australia are invited to submit an expression of interest for Naturally Brave 2026 with Bushfire Kids Connect and Growing With Gratitude. Naturally Brave delivers a pioneering and engaging STEM program designed to promote awareness of natural disasters and encourage resilience and empathy in students. Schools selected will be awarded a STEM package valued at $8,500 including professional development for teachers, Makers Empire tools and resources and a student showcase event.

This program will be delivered up to 20 SA schools in the Limestone Coast and Adelaide, SA, in terms 2-4, 2026.

CITB Careers Under Construction SA School
Program 2026

Primary and high schools in South Australia are invited to submit an expression of interest for the Construction & Industry Training Board (CITB) SA‘s Careers Under Construction program. It introduces students to the building and construction industry through a design thinking problem-solving methodology. It uses 3D design to create solutions for a construction problem in a local context. Schools selected will be awarded a STEM package valued at up to $5,500 including professional development for teachers, Makers Empire tools and resources and a student showcase event.

This program will be delivered to up to 20 schools in terms 2-4, 2026.

Secondary schools in Queensland are invited to submit an expression of interest for the Advanced Manufacturing Future Skills Program with the Queensland Government’s Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing, Regional and Rural Development. Schools selected for this program will be awarded a STEM package valued at $7,500 including professional development for teachers, Makers Empire tools and resources and a student showcase event.

This STEM, additive manufacturing and 3D printing program will be delivered to secondary schools in Queensland in terms 2-4, 2026.

Early expressions of interest close Friday, December 5th, 2025.

Aurora 2025 an Inclusive Space Education Program for SA Schools

 

Primary schools in South Australia catering to students living with a disability are invited to submit an expression of interest for the 2025 Aurora Inclusive Space Education Program with The Andy Thomas Space Foundation. The Aurora program offers engaging and accessible space education opportunities designed specifically for students and young people living with a disability.

2025 Street Smart Primary Road Safety Program for SA Schools

 

South Australian primary schools are invited to register an expression of interest to be part of the 2025 Street Smart Primary Road Safety program with RAA and the Lifetime Support Authority (LSA). This engaging program is designed to promote awareness of road safety and empower students as problem solvers. Schools selected for this program will be awarded a STEM package valued at $6,499 including professional development for teachers, Makers Empire tools and resources and a student showcase event.

The Street Smart Primary Road Safety program will be delivered to 5 metropolitan SA schools and 5 regional SA schools in terms 2-3, 2025.
