Primary schools across Australia are invited to submit an expression of interest for the Andy Thomas Space Foundation’s Kids in Space 2026 program. This program encourages students to engage with the nation’s growing space ecosystem, introduce them to space technology and jobs within the space industry and spark their interest in a space career. Schools selected will be awarded a STEM package valued at $6,999 including professional development for teachers, Makers Empire tools and resources and a student showcase event.
This program will be delivered to around 100 schools in Australia in terms 1-3, 2025.

It introduces students to the building and construction industry through a design thinking problem-solving methodology. It uses 3D design to create solutions for a construction problem in a local context. Schools selected will be awarded a STEM package valued at up to $5,500 including professional development for teachers, Makers Empire tools and resources and a student showcase event.
This program will be delivered to up to 20 schools in terms 2-4, 2026.
