The STEM Advanced Manufacturing Future Skills Program is a free project designed for teachers who want students to solve real-world problems and use 3D design to create solutions for industry informed manufacturing problems.
Following a successful program in 2025 and 2026, expressions of interest are now open for the 2027 Advanced Manufacturing Future Skills School Program. This program will be delivered to primary and secondary schools in multiple cities in Queensland.
Makers Empire in collaboration with the Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development, is delighted to share this Advanced Manufacturing Future Skills School Program that includes professional development days for teachers and student showcase events.
This program supports skills development in the Queensland Advanced Manufacturing industry, and aligns and supports the strategic objectives of the:

Selected primary schools will receive a $7,500 package including:

Selected junior secondary schools will receive a $7,500 package including:

Total project participant value is $7,5000 ex-gst per school
